We only collect the minimum personal information necessary to provide our services. All data is collected lawfully, with your knowledge and consent, and we always explain why we collect it and how it is used. We retain data only for as long as necessary to deliver requested features and protect it using modern security practices.

Data We Collect

PawGroom.AI collects limited data to provide core features such as grooming generation, pet health tracking, and subscriptions. The categories of data we collect include:

• Contact Information — Your name and email address for account setup, authentication, and communication.
• User Content — Pet photos, grooming results, favorites, and any posts or comments you share in the community.
• Pet Wellness Data — Pet-related information such as food, water, medication, health assessments, and activity logs. No human health data is collected.
• Identifiers — A unique user ID and device token used internally for authentication, notifications, and purchase validation.
• Purchases — Subscription and credit pack details handled securely via Apple and RevenueCat.
• Diagnostics — Anonymous crash and performance data to maintain app stability.

We do not collect phone numbers, precise or coarse location data, device contacts, or any sensitive personal information such as race, gender, religion, or biometric data.

How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your user account.
• To enable app features such as AI grooming, Dr. Paw assessments, and activity tracking.
• To process in-app purchases, subscriptions, and credit balances.
• To send optional notifications and reminders (if enabled by you).
• To maintain security, prevent fraud, and improve performance.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising purposes, and we do not engage in any cross-app or website tracking.

AI Image and Health Processing

When you generate a grooming preview, your uploaded pet photo and selected style details are securely transmitted to OpenAI’s image model (GPT-Image-1) to produce your result. These requests are encrypted, not used to train AI models, and the resulting images are stored only within your account. You may delete them at any time.

Optional health assessments (“Dr. Paw”) are powered by Google Gemini and analyze pet photos you provide. Results are for informational and educational purposes only, and are not a substitute for veterinary advice.

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted service providers to operate key parts of PawGroom.AI:

• Supabase — Authentication, database, and file storage (secured with row-level security).
• OpenAI — AI-powered grooming image generation.
• Google Gemini — AI analysis for pet health assessments and food safety checks.
• RevenueCat — Subscription, in-app purchase, and billing management.

These providers process limited data strictly to enable app functionality. They do not use your information for advertising, analytics, or user tracking.

Account Management

You can delete your PawGroom.AI account at any time by visiting your account settings and selecting “Delete Account.” Deletion is permanent and removes all photos, grooming results, logs, credits, and personal data from our servers and third-party systems.

If you prefer, you can also request manual deletion by contacting us at support@pawgroom.ai.

Tracking and Advertising

PawGroom.AI does not use any third-party advertising or analytics SDKs that track users across other apps or websites. We do not request App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission and do not display tracking prompts. No data is shared for marketing or ad targeting purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as your account remains active. When you delete your account, all associated content and data are permanently removed from our database and cloud storage within a reasonable timeframe.

Cookie Policy

Our website uses small text files (“cookies”) to maintain sessions, store preferences, and measure general website performance. Cookies are not used for advertising or user profiling.

You can choose to disable cookies in your browser settings, but some website features may not function properly.

Children’s Privacy

PawGroom.AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will promptly delete it. Parents or guardians may contact us for immediate removal.

Security

We use encryption, secure authentication, and Supabase Row-Level Security to safeguard your data. However, no method of internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection against all potential breaches.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect new features or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly. Continued use of PawGroom.AI after changes means you accept the updated terms.
